Dancing into Healing!

I lost my best friend this past month.  She was a sister, a prayer partner, and a support.  When I danced at her homecoming, I was already experiencing supernatural healing in my heart and soul.  Though I am still very raw from her passing, I felt the incredible healing after I had ministered in the dance to her family and many friends who attended.

Recently, I attended our bi-monthly meeting in our faith community and honestly I was hurting and down and did not "feel" like worshiping.  But when I began to lead the congregation in the dance, immediately I felt my spirit lift into Joy, and quickly there was an explosion from within through my dance!   I realized then that this was essential for my healing.  I must continue!

As I worship God in the Dance, I am transcended in His presence!  This intimate closeness with God through my worship carries me along and brings healing into my soul, and of course my body, as I dance by faith into my healing!  We try to explain this spiritual process, but it's very hard, because it is of the spirit and not justly expressed through words.

When we forget ourselves and put our focus on the Lover of our Souls, we are truly changed in His presence!   We were made for worship, and there really is no other way to happiness, as this world understands it.  Joy is promised to no man, but through the only One who carries eternity, and we in Him!   We were made for His good pleasure.  When we join with Him, we cannot help but be filled with peace, calm, and tranquility, for we were made for LOVE!

  1. Awesome testimony of God's faithfulness manifesting in you. I stand with you for your complete healing and restoration. I did something and my neck and shoulder has been hurting and it was trying to distract me from worshiping in dance Sunday but I overcame it and completely turned my focus on Jesus.
